So I'm still not 100% sold on the scratchkids creating the troll universe (I guess it feels like it should be right, but doesn't at the same time), but if they do, that's a pretty cool idea.

Betty Crocker is all but stated to be the Her Imperious Condescension. She probably introduced the Troll terminology and lusus-esque creatures to Earth.

Crocker only introduced it recently?? Jake's pretty much lived his entire life on that island away from civilization, so he may not have the kind of exposure to the rest of the world and it's culture required to be familiar with the terms?? I don't know, but I still think it's got something to do with Crocker.

Mom mentions a baroness, who is possibly her guardian, saying that the baroness wants her to play SBurb. Jake mentions Jade competing with her own mother, also a baroness, who happened to own Betty Crocker Corporation (presuably BettY Crocker).

I think it's reasonable to assume that for some reason Betty Crocker is scratch!Mom's guardian, or at least has influenced her. Not sure what's happened to Rose in that case though.

The Baronness is Betty Crocker, yeah. Presumably, at least.  Mom has stated her distaste for Betty Crocker to Nanna at least a couple of times.
