A painting of a guy cosplaying an indignant security guard.  Through the fucking looking glass.

No. It's an image of a painting of a guy cosplaying as a memetic disgruntled security guard!

Dun dun duuuun.

Now we need a play about the pic, a movie about the play, a game about the movie, and a popular webcomic about the game and we'll have come nowhere because HS isn't based off a game. Directly, anyway. In a sense.

So now I'm going to be arranging a few Homestuck songs for pep band

First: The Broken Clock! Oh man this is going to be great... my section leader already hates me for knowing every scale, wait till she hears that I have one in G♯ minor!

AND 13/8 time! Oh my yes!

You must really hate your section leader. But that's a great song and you are awesome.

Just don't attempt Sburban Jungle. Apparently there is not a human percussionist on earth that can play that without descending into a cacophony of CLANG CLANG clang clang CLANG clang CLANG.

So today in Chemistry she asked if I was going to Gobbocon or something and I'm like uuuuuhh NO.

Apparently all of her outfits are home-made so that's neat I guess, depending...

Today I saw a young woman in a Dave shirt while I was walking to school downtown. You know, the one with the record on the front, and the long red sleeves? I knew it was a possibility that I could one one day. I just didn't think it would be here. We were a separated by a street, but it was readily apparent.

Even in the middle of a nowhere city, there is Homestuck. Amazing.

No one in my town reads homestuck, NO ONE.

And despite my efforts, my friends don't want to read it either.

I was at a marching competition, with marching bands surrounding me. Suddenly self-conscious about being in a crowd, I did what any good homestuck fan would do: I yelled "I WARNED YOU ABOUT STAIRS BRO".

Girl right next to me who I actually knew acknowledged it.

Chances? LOW.

I have managed to ferret out the ten or so Homestuck readers in my school while still staying off radar. I am planning some sort of Homestuck themed social trap.

Oh what are we sharing stories about Homestuck fans we encountered IRL now?
Well okay then; one day, I was in the lunchroom when I spotted a girl wearing what I thought could've been a Dave shirt and black jeans. I decided that I had to get a closer look but without looking like a stalker, as I was only able to see the back of it.
I maneuvered through the swarm of people and was successful in getting a look. With that confirmation, I walked up to her and said, "all you need is sunglasses and your outfit would be complete."
And now I have people to sit with breakfast and, for one day of the week, lunch. She wore that shirt on a day that happened to be the one day of the week where I had first lunch instead of second. It feels like when I was in middle school all over again, except instead of people talking about the animes, it's Homestuck.
