I think you're a bit confused. Granted, I only saw a choppy, crappy version, but it looked like their quest beds were, like Aradia's, down in the vault in the eldritch architecture of Derse's Moon.

I... I think I figured it out.

Lord English is the Green sun itself. It is made from the bodies of two universes, described as being about twice as large as the kids universe. Doc Scratch died along with his universe to allow the bomb to blow. From this the Green Sun was born.
