Kinda so-so.  The overlayed text was insufficiently snappy, the transitions are awkward, and there are long periods where nothing particularly interesting is on screen.

I feel like I should point this one out in case there's anyone who hasn't seen it yet.
Jade's pretty derpy and there are other little things that could be touched up, but still.

It picks up at around halfway. Kind of an odd parallel to the actual comic, although the end didn't have enough random out of nowhere bullshit to make it a true parallel.

Also this sorta confirms the color of the Heroes of Space. Seems Jade and Kanaya would wear black if they ever reached Godhood.

The Aspect is what determines the color, not the Class, which determines the style of the costume.
Jade and Kanaya would have different colors.

No, they would have the same color outfit because they have the same aspect, Space.

Were these both made by the same artist? I ask because they have a similar effect in their backgrounds.

They have a very similar everything, so I'm going to guess yes.  Which means that's two drawings informed by an update in less than three hours.

Once again proving that Homestuck actually does not have tons of fanartists, it just has a handful of fanartists who can do the work of hundreds.

As always my sources are anonymous, so I cant really say. I think there are two artists in the fandom that I know of which have a style like that. It would still be pretty safe to say one person made both extremely quickly.

"yeah, just had these layin' around
figured I should put the wig I also had laying about on this stand here
just 'cause"

But I will admit, those are some nice-looking horns. They have a nicer look (redundancy, anyone?) than the plastic-esque smooth ones people always wear, being more realistic and all. I'm betting that they were probably expensi-- wait where would one even get custom made ram horns? The heck.

...Wow those last few sentences made me sound like I'm really into cosplay. I mean, I have nothing against it, but-- I think right about now is a good time to stop typing.

While she probably had the wig and horns, that's still an impressively quick time after the update to get into full costume. The make-up alone most have taken a couple of hours.

But then, life was also easier when I was running around here pretending to be a man, so I guess I should just "man up" and get back to work.

I'll bet you she was already in costume.

Also, tiny update.

I think Aradia may have been calling for help. But even if Hussie could hear her pleas, he would not care.
