So, Gamzee's rampage is because of Cal. Someone needs to burn that accursed puppet and bury the ashes somewhere where no one will find it.

Be Dave's friend? Which is a pretty crappy reason. Plus, Gamzee apparently did the same thing to Dave, causing Cal to appear in his dream tower.

And it is entirely likely that Karkat will never know it wasn't his fault.

It's because of the cancerous universe's inhabitants that Gamzee started fucking with John and Dave's dreams. It can all be traced back to Karkat not getting the final frog. Also, Gamzee only said that he made the universe terminal, not that he gave it cancer in the first place.
