Okay, so we got some more sprites, and the brief return of the Pshoooes and more importantly The Wrinkle Fucker.  And once again, Vriska reminds us how bad the Trolls screwed up at their game by grinding and powerleveling the shit out of everything without actually solving any of the riddles (even if riddle-solving is probably totally useless to John's game).  Ooh, and a reminder that once upon a time, these kids played instruments and music was an important thing - playing the wind and rain and so forth...

Also, my totally awesome fanfic that I was just about to write has been thrown out the window by revealing that Vriska shared Rose's denizen and she fought the thing.  Great, that's a load off my mind.

Typheus is a pretty cool guy.  Eh's a captain of industry and doesn't afraid of anything.

Does that mean Tavros also had to face Typheus? Ditto for Aradia and Kanaya. Would make sense.

For Tavros, I would think so. I don't know where you got Aradia and Kanaya from, though. Wait you meant Aradia=time=Hephaestus and Kanaya=space=Echidna, didn't you. Yeah, that would make sense.

Yes, this is easily (but never necessarily) taken as indication that players of the same Aspect always have the same denizen, regardless of just how thematically appropriate it might be.  The two Light players were lucky enough to have watery worlds for a watery god (or maybe the Aspect forces a watery theme), but Hephaestus must have looked pretty out of place in the Land of Quartz and Melody.  Which is to say, Hussie thought the original idea of Lands and Aspects and Denizens up a long long time ago, and just rolled with whatever his next idea was, even if he had to hammer it into shape to fit.

I just noticed that even in the contemplative self-awareness of Death, Vriska still thinks she's the real hero and Terezi was more villainous than anyone.  Who's really right?  (Vriska is of course wrong and has all the villainy, we all know that.)

I wouldn't say aaaaaaaall the villainy though. Vriska is clearly an anti-villain by now while Terezi is (and always has been) a type 3 (or higher) anti-hero.

They are both batshit insane and Kanaya is my favorite troll.

Also Vriska is getting more and more acceptable as she begins to not violently murder everyone she meets and murder them for food for her mom and maybe herself.

And Vriska's denizen was Cetus? According to the pattern of browser name being the same as the denizen's name, Rose's denizen is also Cetus. Maybe all heroes of light have Cetus as their denizen?

How--how cute...
Why yes it is.  I haven't even read Yotsuba& yet and you can just tell.
