I just noticed, Jack Noir's name comes from a card.  King, Queen, Jack.  He's the Jack of Spades (or Black Jack.  Not Jack Black, though).  I bet the other dark planet iterations of the midnight crew have playing card based alternate names as well, assuming they ever get named.  Although seeing as how the only options left are the numbers and Ace, probably not.

But if this is anything like the world of the midnight crew... Jack just killed Sn0ball's equivalent. The one he said he couldn't kill or else something undefined but bad would happen.
