Nope. I still despise Vriska. Hussie's attempt to troll us all won't work on me. Not a chance.

Give it one more photo album.  By the end of the Act Closer, you will love her.

And I'm pretty sure the "gone now that I'm dead" part was her eye.  I'll admit, I'm not that fond of her when she's pensive, it feels forced.

Oh, well, as a character... no, she's probably never going to be my favorite.  But I no longer go "BLUH why do I have to look at her."

Although I do want Tavros and Eridan back, rather a lot ._.

I would give so much to know a single fucking thing about anything Rose was talking about in that last update. To call her cryptic would be like calling Godzilla tall. You may be right, but it doesn't even begin to describe just how vast the quality is.

I still like Vriska, I've felt bad for her this whole photo-albupdate. I wonder what's up with John, too, while I'm at it.

This being Homestuck, I'm not sure whether that's post-scratch Rose or Vriska with a wig.

Basically, Dave had resolved to take the suicide mission, in which he severed Derse's moon from the planet, and would pilot it (somehow) to the Green Sun, because on some level he hates himself and feels really inadequate, and he's tired of being locked into his own paradoxical predestination to managing time.  Rose, for reasons not entirely clear but likely very similar feelings of wanting to atone for what she thinks was royally failing at what she should have been doing, knocked him out and took his place.  They're both still alive, just Dave is dreaming and Rose is probably intersecting a lot of Dream Bubbles on her way through the Outerest of Space.

I still like Vriska, I've felt bad for her this whole photo-albupdate. I wonder what's up with John, too, while I'm at it.

What's up with John is that it's the version of John who died to his denizen and spun off an alternate timeline.  A version of John who never talked to Vriska (after the once), and never found his Dad's body.

I'm glad we got to see one more chatlog with Nepeta in it.

And I agree with vector, I would like to see Tavros (but not Eridan) again.

I would like to see Eridan again, where he's basically unable to use science-magic or whatever, begging for the others to let what he did slide, while at the same time hitting on them. Mostly for the pathetic hitting on them despite them knowing about that wacky murder spree of his, and no science-magic for obvious reasons.

I don't know, I'd like to see Dead!Atoner!Eridan more than Dead!StillLame!Eridan. It would be a fitting direction of character development, given how screwed up he is mentally.

Even better would be him still having the ability to science the place up, but keeping his wand in his pocket because he's so unbelievably desperate and knows it's his last shot at not being forevver alone.

Also so he can make a godawful pick-up line about it.

Yes, the bisected halves of Eridan's character would be a fitting meeting.  I wonder how the lower half will talk.

Vriska says they fill in as they get older, not when they reach adulthood.

Plenty of wiggle room to make up a bunch of crap.

Could've worn sunglasses. Could've been Dave, I mean, there are so many universal constants that it's less likely for there not to be Troll!Dave. It's possible enough that Buckminster Funnyuncle (author of Data Structures For Assholes) is Human!Karkat, so who's to say?

Is that the first 'actual' time that Dave and Rose have met face to face?

Reading the Data Structures thing reminded me of way back when MSPA was about finding ridiculous and convoluted solutions to hilarious puzzles, rather than being the animes.
