The "davesprite will bring the Tumor to the Green Sun seems plausible though.

TG: i looked up into the sky
TG: didnt see anyone singing
TG: but even though the sky was black i could see the sun
TG: it was bright as hell even through my shades
TG: so i flapped my wings and flew up away to it like a fucking piece of garbage

The crows could just be a metaphor for all his alternate timeline lives, as it seems to have applied to all of them instead of just Davesprite himself. It's still loose and open enough to be taken however Hussie wants it to play out.

It would be cool if Rose and Dave were floating on the event horizon of the Green Sun, deciding which one would give their life when the two sprites that deal with space and time, the two things that are distorted and chaotic beyond the Furthest Ring came outta nowhere, steal the Tumor and go out in a blaze of glory.

I'm trying to imagine how the significance of these scenes might differ to someone that doesn't have to wait a solid couple days for each awesome one. Suppose a person in the future is binge reading all of homestuck, start to finish, how would the significance change? This is just a quandary I presented to myself.

They'd probably be missing out in my opinion, since a binge reader might never even notice Pantskat, or the other ludicrous fanart that is only relevant to a few strips of the whole thing.

A world without Pantskat... *shudder*

But I've been kind of wondering what stops Dave from taking his stuff out to the Green Sun, then loltiming back right as the explosion starts so that he can take part in the Scratch-caper with all the other guys.

This being Homestuck, I'm not sure whether that's post-scratch Rose or Vriska with a wig.

I've wondered the same thing. I think the explanation is that time and space work funnily out there, so straight up time travel might not work.

Are we even sure if the outer rings are even part of paradox space? I'll be damned if I can remember such a detail.

BOOM, Jaspersprite was best friends with nepeta.

BOOM, John might be dead.

BOOM, Davesprite is alive.

BOOM, Nepeta has a redcrush on Karkat.

BOOM, CD stole the queen's ring AGAIN.

BOOM, Santa clause is a horrorterror.

Okay, that last one may be false.

Wow. This is rich with information. Or would be, if it weren't mostly dream bubbles and hypotheticals.

Yeah, not so much BOOM as "oh yeah, that's still a thing".  John being dead is a little more obtuse - his original body is certainly dead, so that's probably why he's a little confused by Vriska, since he didn't know her quite as well as he would now.

BOOM, Davesprite is alive.

That however is the best boom.  Caw caw motherfuckers.  I would say that missing a wing is probably supposed to signify that he can't fly away the sun like a fucking piece of garbage, but sprites can fly no matter what anyway.

Nepeta replacing "happens" with "Catpuns".

I laughed quite uproariously.

Same thing to the entire Dave/Rose conversation.

Nepeta replacing "happens" with "Catpuns".

Just in case anyone thought they did their quirks subconsciously. Nope. It's a big thing for them. Apparently.

Caw caw motherfuckers.  I would say that missing a wing is probably supposed to signify that he can't fly away the sun like a fucking piece of garbage, but sprites can fly no matter what anyway.

Crow's had his fucking wing clipped. Still, if anyone could fly when they shouldn't it's Dave.

EDIT: Thought.

Was Alt-future Dave more powerful than current Dave? Because he's been grinding for months, apparently, while Dave spent all of his time tricking crocodiles out of boondollars. And yet, Dave and gunspoldey Jade managed to take on Jack for at least a full minute, while the big flash of doom suggested that Bec Noir ended the fight with Bro and Davesprite near-instantaneously, and in my headcanon Davesprite only survived that asskicking because of Bro.

Alt-Dave had been busy getting wicked cool gear. Alpha-Dave inherited all the wicked cool gear, on top of looting the economy and buying sweet fraymotifs, alongside setting up grist shares with everyone to even cooler-ize his gear.

I think Jaspers' voice sounds like...

Well, I was going to link that Sonic Jam Easy Mode LP by docfuture, but it appears to have been wiped off the net. :/
