But we're fucked anyhow. Unless humanity is in the same species as trolls, humanity is ready to die out. Trollkind may yet survive, but with only 4 sets of genes humanity is pretty screwed.

Hussie actually covered that, pointedly enough.  Sburb knows that a winning game would involve no more than a handful of people, so the players are supposed to get a bunch of splicing and cloning machines, to make a new genetically stable stock of people for their new world.  Jade was quite relieved.

He's also not-even-slightly-obliquely hinted that the same stuff can breed any two species together, no prob.  As always, it's Hussie so don't hold him to anything, but this doesn't have to be as bleak or perverse or the subject might suggest.

Totally unrelated: This is the only Homestuck fanfic anyone should read.

ITT we all start pretending Sburb is an MMORPG, and use obtuse, obscure terms to describe everything.

Doubt it, since Scratch seems to at least think he and English are different people. Plus, Scratch has to die for English to be summoned, and English can only be summoned at the end of the universe. English might, say, use Scratch's corpse as a shell, but they seem to be seperate entities. Plus, Scratch is too short, the Cairo Overcoat wouldn't fit him.

I am imagining Jack Noir will be killed off in a mildly anticlimactic way, and the final battle will be between the crossed-over trolls, duplicate copies of the kids and the still alive trolls, vs. Lord English, in the reset, winnable session.

Because when I open one of the animes from halfway in (like, say, Episode 13), instead of the first episode, without knowing what's going on, that is exactly the kind of thing I will see.

You know it to be true.

IDE/THEORY All this theorizing on who Lord English could be based on height will be useless because Lord English will be too short for the coat anyway.

And to edit again, it seems there is some shenanigans going on behind the scenes.

Also oh fuck these colors

Still no giant spider.  Why do none of them ever remember the giant spider?

And to edit again, it seems there is some shenanigans going on behind the scenes.

If true, and there's nothing to say it's not, I'm mostly enjoying this because it means Act 5 still isn't over yet, and won't be for at least a month or more.  I was honestly afraid that after the disc-act-color notation thing that this green-screened Scratch business was going to be Act 6.

And of course, the flash will still be done before that Rex Duodecim Angelus flash has anything to show for itself.

Heehee, it's actually Hussie's version of RDA, just to show that he can outdo everyone else on the forum if he feels like it.  You cannot hope to beat Hussie in a flash-off.  He is simply the best there is.

I'm pretty sure it's mentioned that only sessions fated to fail have those.
The game knows ahead of time whether a Tumor is needed or not, and places them accordingly.
