Too many good pictures.  I just added like 10 to my save file for this stuff, and that's only because I decided only one picture of Karkat's ancestor was enough.  And I recently found out that there are these things called "Shimeji" on Deviantart, and now Vriska is climbing the side of my screen and it's awesome.  I think it might be better if it was actually in the style of a homestuck sprite, but it's good enough as it is.  And these two updates I'm late for are also awesome.  Too many good things going on right now.

Seeing how Vriskas entire thing is a conflict between her character and how she is expected to grow up into, and how the trollcestors are basically what the trolls didn't do, I would believe Karkats ancestor to just not give a single fuck about anything except being an awesome bloodthirsty bastard. No friends he cares about, no interest in romantic relations, just being a good leader.

How long ago was this, that Hussie was a troll at PA?  I know he was originally a trollish presence in somebody else's "suggest an adventure" escapade - is that where it all started?

It makes me like him less to learn that SBaHJ wasn't entirely his own idea.  Knowing :y is not pure Hussnasty makes the whole enterprise feel slightly cheaper.

Oh well, swag time.  That's quite a spritefeel he's copping there.

However, you do realize Hussie actually admitted, in his own Hussnasty way, that it wasn't his idea. Since Dave is the most natural character for Hussie to write, that makes Dave a sort of author avatar for him. And remember that the :y face that Dave learned apparently originated with Terezi. This is quite obviously a parallel to when Hussie himself learned of the :y face from another source.
