We had one.

The question was, "I'm not dealing with"

And our two options were "BUUUUUUUULLSHIIIIIIIIT" and "Wind."

Is it just me, or am I the only one that thinks "At the Price of Oblivion" isn't that great of an Album? It has pieces that seem nice enough, but nothing especially 'ear-catching', something grabs my attention and imagination and motivates me to listen to listen again and again, not ad infinitum, but something that I'll happily go back to the website to listen to every now and again. WSW-Beatdown is the closest thing it has to fitting this description, but it gets old fast.

Going by that criterion, AlterniaBound is my favorite, for having the most ear-catching songs in it's collection.

Ear-catching, like eye-catching, but with ears.

First bunch of songs were like that for me, it gets worse the further on in the album. Awakening and down except for Saviors of the Dreaming Dead are songs I don't really bother with.

I prefer STRIEF over everything I've ever heard, mostly because Dance of Thorns.

Dance of Thorns is a wicked tune, but the rest of the album is a little meh.  I can't remember the melodies to any of them besides that, although Atomic Bonsai was a massive improvement over the wall of noise that was Umbral Ultimatum.

As for Volume 7, Spider8reath Spider8reath Spider8reath.  I find myself loading the page almost every day, even if I don't listen to it more than once.  The song before it are alright too, everything after it tapers off.

I only liked Atomic Bonsai when I heard Decisive Battle inside it. I loved Heir Conditioning because Touhou.

I like having songs I can tune out, but kinda still listen to, if that makes sense. I guess it's like extremely pleasant background noise. Sometimes I like a song to be hard to ignore (i.e. it's so good that I can't ignore it), but often times when I'm listening to music, I'm doing some sort of other activity that requires focus, like reading or drawing or typing.
I think that's why I started listening so much to the Felt album recently (all that being said, I do enjoy Strife-like songs. Time Paradox was kinda like a mix of that); I'm doing more work (see previous sentence) on the computer, so I need more focus. I didn't like the Felt album before as much as I do now; none of the songs were particularly... well, ear-catching, I guess. Now they are since I'm listening to them more, which I started doing in the first place because, as I recalled, they were calm.
I like being able to think of a song in my head and know its name and vice versa. It makes for efficient music-listening, and I love efficiency (though that's likely true for most people).

I love Album 7. Spider8reath, Lifdoff, and Play the Wind are three of my favorites. Terezi Owns is goddamn awesome too :D I like all of Strife, and I love particular songs in Album 5, but most of that album is crap.

I was going to say I really only like Dawn Of Man, but that's a blatant lie. I like it the most, but Lies With The Sea is awesome too :D and then the rest I'll listen to, but I don't really focus on them. They become background music, whereas when DoM and LwtS come up, I focus on them completely.

While I think that all the songs in volume 7 are great, I do agree that some of them don't really make you want to listen to them again and again. For me, the ones that really make you want to listen to them again are Black Rose, Green Sun, At The Price of Oblivion, Even In Death, Terezi Owns, Spider8reath, Awakening, Earthsea Borealis, and Savior of the Dreaming Dead. All in all, I do love the album, but some of the songs aren't that catchy.

My favorite album is still Strife. I love going through that album and listening to each song. It's still the best album, IMO. Mobius Trip and album 7 are close seconds.
