 We kinda already knew John wasn't gonna stay dead for a while, and people keep citing that as the reason death had no impact.
 (A month or two later the entire fandom wept over Kanayas death.)

Eridan's murder rampage wasn't mentioned at all before it happened (at least I think, I'm almost never 100% sure when it comes to specific details like this), and the process of him killing trolls affected me more than the aftermath. Once they actually died, I somehow stopped feeling any sympathy for them.
I myself am not quite sure why this is.

EDIT: Formspring update(s). Also, I finally understand what "got tiger" was supposed to mean. I never really tried to figure it out before, but jeez, what a typo that is.

Despite Hussie's best attempts to keep us on our toes I've kind of stopped caring because death so far in the story has been mostly a complete joke. We can never be certain we've seen the last of a character, to such a degree that even if it was played straight and somebody just died it wouldn't trigger much.
Eridan=Really dead
Feferi= Really dead
Equius= Really turned ondead
Nepeta= Pretty friggin' dead

The thing is all of them are hangin' about in dream bubbles. Really they're on a bus at best. They're not done being in the story and they're not done being part of the plot. Were not done seeing them.

What we really need to do is shove them past death's door and hold it shut with a saxophone.

I thought it was a trusty bassoon. I think anything less than a bass sax wouldn't be large enough.

Oh  man, what Hussie is complaining about on his formspring lately is one of the few "features" that I absolutely hate with GIMP. Now, though, I don't have to feel inferior to all the photoshop users, they have to deal with it too! HAH!

Oh, uh.

Hey there, Doc Scratch.

Chilling at the top of the page, huh.

That's cool.

It'd be cool if he "replayed" Doc's meeting with Jack in the banner at the top while the main story continued on.  Give a sense of time in a story that never really has a frame of reference.

Oh great, this is what I need.  Now, instead of just scouring every letter and pixel in the comic frame, and occasionally the newsposts, now I'll have to pay attention to the entire page all the time.

I gotta admit, at first I was like "up where?" and then I looked up and then I was like "that's pretty cool".

On an unrelated note, I'm surprised I've only seen something like this now. Also

Vriska's wings and horns can't decide which part of her they want to stay attached to.

I like the finger point though.  Pity she's gonna get fucked up.  Place your bets now folks, even money on Jack, 8:1 odds on Vriska surviving, over-under pool on how many panels it'll take to finish, let's go.
