NASA says we put them on the moon with rockets and science but that is obviously a lie. We put them up there as part of a dark pact signed with a suicidal immortal that precedes the world ending demon. Fact.

On an unrelated note, there is apparently a fan effort to make a flash for Rex Duodecim Angelus. I mention this primarily because it spawned this.

The artist thinks that is shitty? That is the stuff right there. And the flash will be amazing if it gets done.

Download it and then invert it in MSPaint. Looks pretty sweet.

Cranking out awesome art is nothing new (and there's some great stuff in the OP's list), but animating is a whole other bag, and coordinating a seven minute video is something else entirely.  The mockup storyboards are the most impressive part to me, these guys are making a serious effort at something coherent and entertaining, but there does seem to be a lot of waffling and uncertainty.  Worth noting that the thread itself started over a month ago, whereas Hussie makes these things, with fanart, in a matter of days.  That's no fair comparison, but I'll believe it when I see it.

And I do so hope to see it, because it's awesome and what we were all waiting for when Hussnasty starting hinting about ending Hivebent with a flash.

I've been following some links to Tindeck today, part of an old LP I'm reading.  I hadn't been to Tindeck in a while, but I had already christened it Homedeck, or more like Trolldeck, because like half the front page was all Homestuck music or voice-acting or radio plays.  Now?  Three different times I've followed a link, and every time, the 15 "What's popular right now..." links have all been 11-13 Homestuck, almost all Troll-related.  The frontpage is about the same, and in the tag-aggregator at the bottom, "Homestuck" is listed as a genre on par with "Blues" or "Reggae" (still pretty small, but be damned if its not there).

One wonders how much the comic owes Tindeck for new readers, or whether Tindeck is progressively shedding non-Homestuck-related visitors.  Point is, it's taking over.

What, you mean with various snapshots of this instead of green static?

No I mean red and black instead of green and yellow.

Horrorterror static.

Ah. I'd still toss a few tentacles in there for good measure anyway, but that's just my two cents.

Yeah, to be properly horrorterror-y, you need extra eyes and tentacles. Simply having static is for sissies.
