Dreamselves are projections of sorts. It's kinda sorta what they view themselves as and what they want to be. It's why Terezi's blind (because that's the way she sees herself and wants to see herself) and why Vriska has her arm and eye (because that's the way she sees herself and wants to see herself).

And your point is? How does the existence of a dreamself relate to it not being on Derse when it was destroyed? That sequence itself shows dreamselves can sort of go wherever they feel like and assume the role of the main body if the main body kicks it. Nothing that invalidates his dreamself being moved to the Veil.

 Really, that is the biggest hole in my theory. The angels, the living dreamself assumptions, the quest bed being in some weird place after his planet blew up, all more plausible than somebody willing to kiss him.
