I'm really liking Havoc to be Wrought.

Does Unlabeled Record and I'm a Member of the Midnight Crew cut off for anyone midway through besides me?

I expected Havoc to be Wrought to be a lot more metal, but it's still good (and also new).

But I'm wondering, where is the honk at the end of XROM coming from? Or am I just imagining it?

Yeah, I wonder if it isn't significant because Midnight Crew cuts off right after the line "Although I didn't have a knife, a blackjack, or a gun" for me.

Then again, I had to refresh the page like five times before I got anything to play at all.

No using. That's not what freedom is for.

Did that for me too. I think it's deliberate.

There's the tiniest hint of a scratch when it ends, so yeah, I'm pretty sure it's supposed to cut off for effect.  I can't remember hearing Unlabeled Record in any album, so it may just be unfinished.

Stupid Final Fantasy 6 fanboyism.  What I would have given for the record players in that game to actually do something.  And I love Trollcops, that's such a fun song.

Anyway, I realized that it makes perfect sense for Terezi to be so damned obsessed with Spidertroll.  She's not a cop, she's not a lawyer.  She's a legislacerator.  Her job isn't determining truth or guilt, it's making an accusation stick, one way or another.  Terezi's still a retard because she can't stop subconsciously roleplaying long enough to save her hide.

Remember that trolls are guilty until proven innocent. Or dead.

There is no "proven innocent" because there is no defense.  Once you're accused, and there's always a good reason to accuse somebody, it's just a matter of how much time and pageantry will go into your death.  Applies both in the courtblock and in everyday life, if these knuckleheads are anything to go by.

I'm sure you can be proven innocent if there are no accusers left alive to stick a crime on you.

Falsely accused of murder?  Start murderin' until murder your way to technical innocence.  Makes a stark amount of sense in context, really.

Just goes to show how little death means in the troll world.

I mean, theres just way too fucking many trolls if at least half of them don't die off every season.

*and by fucking, I mean that both figuratively and literally.

Hmm... I can't shake the feeling that Midnight Crew has allusions to this piece.  Just the beginning.
