Hussie's ads are getting weirder and weirder. Home Surgery, blood sales, comics by the earthworm jim guys.... I'm a little scared.
Don't forget the porn.
Honestly the porn ads the least weird thing advertised on that site.
The porn is harmless compared to do-it-yourself surgery and selling body parts online.
Well, I can obviously get a sterile environment, machinery that will cost thousands of pounds/dollars, and not screw up...

Yeah. That ad is actually kinda creepy..
I gues I'm lucky, all I get is the porn site, a comic by the earthworm jim guy, and an ad for a lava burn ward T-shirt.

Edit: Also don't expect any thing epic for later today.

Nope.

These key dates have actually become EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to nail as the complexity of the projects increases. Problem Sleuth was very easy to key into exactly one year, because the increments were so much simpler. That year-run was the precedent that began most of this milestone madness, and I've kept up with the milestones for the most part, but they start slipping over time. I've already blown a few and had to readjust.

Remember that {S} Descend (end act 4) was originally targeted for 4/13/10, but I ran out of time (EXACTLY like I am now) and I put {S} Jack: Ascend on that date instead. Descend got pushed way back because there was no reason to push it so hard anymore. It dropped around June, then Hivebent started on 6/12, which is now ANOTHER key date!

Things tend to take longer than I think, whether it's a single animation task, or the execution of a string of story events, which are necessary to complete to set up other major events like an end of act, and so on. Meanwhile, time just rages on. I remember thinking at the beginning of '11 that there seemed like plenty of time to set everything up to end it on 4/13. Lo and behold it's already fucking april! We've made plenty of progress, but it's still not there.

Try to remember that as a key date approaches, I actually have much less time to make that work than it seems. To make 4/13 work for EOA5, I'd need AT LEAST a solid week to work on it, probably more. Which means I'd have to get the story up to that exact precipice in less than a week from now, and frankly, I've got other shit to do. As it is, I'll be lucky to pull off anything of significance on the strike of 4/13, let alone the monstrosity that the EOA would inevitably be.

It'll be just like EOA4 (Descend). It'll only happen when it can feasibly, logically happen.

I get the porn, the surgery, and something about squids.

At least the last one makes sense

I have been on a journey of discovery!

The home surgery advert seems to lead to a couple of paragraphs of whining about swimming and shortsightedness. All the porn leads to the same place, and the advert for the squiddle-y thing is another of those 'Adopt a dragon egg and watch it grow!' sites.

So I'm starting my reread, desperate to figure out what the FUCK is going on, and DAMN is the sburb loading screen trippy.
I have it as my screensaver.
If I could get Suburban Jungle to softly play in the background on loop I would be a happy man.
As I was reading this I had a little realization that you are way into this more than I am now.  If anything I hope the flash that comes out a few days later (and is posted as 4/13/11) is really cool, like yeah Make Her Pay or something would be good.

This is all I have to say about the newest update:

Blacker than a moonless night, hotter and more bitter than hell itself... that is coffee.

Now Terezi will work up the nerve to kick down the door only to find that Gamzee survived the fall and has brutally murdered Vriska. Terezi will do an acrobatic pirouette off the handle and Gamzee will beat Terezi to death with Vriska's corpse, going on to murder all the other Trolls and realizing what he's done after his rage gives way to reason. He will then go insane and attempt to live the life he had with the corpses of his friends. Macabre tea parties, one sided conversations, the whole nine yards. Later he realizes that there's no escape from the harsh reality and commit suicide.

Except it's probably Karkat that's next on Gamzee's victim list.

Terezi totally would do an acrobatic pirouette off the handle upon that discovery.

Gamzee is already Bresersk so there's only one solution to this problem.

I hope that comet has a molten core.

The trolls are sort of coming of age in a murderous society.... y'know, most of them but Vriska aren't actually used to mutilating/killing people yet. Vriska practically raised herself and was exposed to these things, and the others weren't because they didn't have a lusus hungry for different color blood. The only people who actually killed people so far are Vriska and Eridan, the two most hated characters. Coincidence, or something different????????

Somebody completely missed the history of Terezi's monologue.  She and Vriska used to be the "Scourge Sisters" depicted in countless SkepticArcher cheesecakes, who murdered everybody in their path when playin' games.  Terezi didn't drop a number like Vriska, but she was right there alongside.  She liked to pretend it was really about whatever cockamamie idea of "justice" she cooked up for the scenario, but blah blah blah.

It never occurred to me before, but hearing Terezi doubt herself over her Trollan convictions makes me wonder.  When she claims to have only killed people who "deserved" it, was she talking about in reality or just within the pretend-time context of crazy roleplaying games?  If it was just in the context of gaming, then she really is nuts and was ultimately killing people for the Hell of it.  If it was about exacting justice for real-world stuff, what was her metric?  Do we now find out that Terezi was actually a really shitty legislacerator, because like her friends, deep down her sense of right and wrong is closer to human than troll?

Reminds me of this thing I discovered long ago. Jeez, I haven't even so much as thought about that in years. It might run slow for some people, but it's a pretty neat time-waster. It does have sound, but you don't need sound to enjoy it. Assuming you enjoy it at all, that is.
