I would guess either this or that it was one of those "always a possibility" things that he didn't want to lock himself into at that point.

You don't use freedom Penguin. First you demand it, then you have it.
No using. That's not what freedom is for.

Something that I've also wondered about..
There's a Jack, a Queen and a King, all represented on the battlefield during the not-so final battle.

Where's the Ace?
Jack was the Jack, now he is the Ace.
Of course not. There must be an Ace somewhere.
Andrew is constantly playing hidden cards to surprise us.
I dare bet he's holding the Ace as well.

No. Hussie already made the "Jack has bested K/Q to become the Ace" reference himself. Jack's the ace.

Gotta remember that when I play cards the next time. "Five aces!"

You know, this would be incredibly nerve-wracking if we didn't know John had yet to have his last/first conversation with Karkat. So he can't be dead yet. Shenanigans have to be involved.

I suspect you've never tried doing many illegal things yet in your game. The second the CCS knows you're "active", they'll come down on you like the hammer of God.

The love of his father will save him. Somehow.
Maybe.
I hope.

This is a tad late, but I finally got around to listening to all of Alternia Bound, and I have to say that Arisen Anew is my favorite, if only because there's that dude that says "big ball of wibbly wobblys" halfway through. My second favorite being Trollcops, if only because it has a great beat to it.

I'm honestly surprised that Requiem of Sunshine and Rainbows has no votes whatsoever though.

Search up Doctor Who and that phrase.

Dr. Who fans hate that phrase.

I would bet money Andrew has edited things retroactively, except I can't prove anything because it was edited retroactively.
