Also, Doc Scratch is not nearly creepy enough to justify being half Lil' Cal.
Doc scratch isn't creepy. He's a gentleman.

now a faceless baby Dave, now THAT'S creepy.

The closest I'm getting to understanding all this is that the trolls had a similar John Fights The Denizen timeline-dooming incident, where an aspect of the doomed timeline is part of the alpha timeline. I think what we've been seeing with all the trolls dying has been part of the alpha timeline, but in the doomed timeline they ruined their universe seed by not prototyping at least one of the kernelsprites, so upon beating the game they were trapped in a null session only this time without Jack or the humans around. Then Gamzee did kill everyone. And in the alpha timeline he is only partially successful.

But, you know, I have no idea. Until we get a formspring, what's actually going on is totally beyond me.

e- Oh christ, you know what? Doc Scratch isn't obligated to serve anyone; he's serving of his own will. The 'serving a demon' thing isn't a standard part of being a First Guardian, Hussie made that clear in his formsprings back when we found out Lord English was a red herring demon. So what would a Cal-created being serve, who we know to be a time traveller? I'm thinking Dave, Bro, and Hussie are all options here (the latter being unlikely but not out of the question, and the former being my best bet). We do have a green-suited dead Dave in a dream bubble.

God I feel so dumb for typing that out but an ide/theory must be spoken.

I think Gamzee killed everybody either before or during their session in the doomed timeline. Not after they found out that they were doomed by some failed prototyping of some sort.

I would bet money Andrew has edited things retroactively, except I can't prove anything because it was edited retroactively.

So that's what Skaia looks like now.  Way to casually throw that in there like it's nothing.

But we'd already seen the new skaia months back?

I don't think we've seen a view of the entire gestalt.

On the other hand, I really can't blame LE for wanting to eat it anymore.  Funnel cake is delicious.

Hm. It looks like the kids' Skaia, which we'd already seen. And I was going to say that it must be the trolls' Skaia because Doc Scratch lives in their universe. But neither Skaia is connected to any universe outside of portals. So there's a good chance it's the kids' anyhow just because Scratch isn't really restricted by anything.

We've had a full view of the kids' Skaia before?

I was just assuming that Skaia always/typically looks the same when fully prototyped.  Probably a stupid assumption to make, but they both have weird twisty branch things.

Scratch has been playing games using model skaias with vriska for a while.

Hussie's answer to the final form of troll skaia is that it looks like this

First image in the background here, here, but there is a much clearer image here.
