Sollux's 0's are just a h0ll0wness motif.  All the doom and gloom and prophecy and shit got blown out of him.  Memory-Aradia dropped the 0's because she's done feeling doomed and empty all the time.  Don't other think it, textual preferences can only convey so much backstory.

I think these last couple of panels are some of my favorite scenes in the comic.  A guy with horns and no eyes, two copies of a girl - one a robot wearing a fedora and the other dressed as a butterfly, another girl wearing a ribbon-fied semi-suit, all standing in three or four rooms at once, with a computer made of beehives, a broken robot, a twice-destroyed wigger marionette, a crystal ball, and a laptop that looks like Bing Crosby.  I love the clutter.

I think this exposition feels way less natural than usually. This whole conversation is kind of awkward. Oh, well. They can't all be masterpieces. I guess this is the first time Hussie does a real-time conversation with more than two people. Also the first time we see a person interrupt another mid-sentence. Hussie is really climbing the echeladder here.

I like this bit.
