C'mon guys, we all knew this was going to happen one way or another.  The castle-shaking ruse was a distraction, now Jack has the villainy.  All the villainy even.  As if he didn't have it already for all those people (mostly Bro) that he killed.

I'm still wondering what exactly he was so pissed off about in the first place.  Has he ever really been given a motivation, because being a jackass?

Actually, no.

Now that you mentioned it, I'd really like to know why Jack going berserk and killing all these people.

Maybe we'll find out now.

I'm not really affected, since it was so obviously going to happen. I actually got a laugh out of how nonchalant the narration is.

And, I just got reminded of this. It didn't stop being John's birthday. One hell of a present.

Prepost edit: Yeah, I wanna know why Jack's doing this too. There is no apparent reason for what he's doing.

Andrew answered that on his old formspring I think.

He's from Derse. They are genetically opposed to skaia's ultimate purpose.

He pretty much has no choice in the matter.

Noir does he want one.

Aaaaaaah! D:

You know, you'd kind of think that after a while, all these deaths would stop affecting me. First Bro and Davesprite, then like half the trolls, now Mom and Dad. Just two more corpses for the corpse pile, right? But NOOOO, for some reason I didn't really think it'd happen until I saw the blood. Probably because Hussie keeps subverting all his apparent designs. Kanaya is dead, except she isn't. All the dead players are alive in the horror bubbles. Nepeta is going to be the sole survivor. I... guess that's a good thing in a story? When characters suddenly die, it SHOULD be kind of surprising and shocking.

As for Jack's motivation, I don't think he needs one. He's from Derse. The whole planet was spawned as a game construct to be opposed to the goal of creating a universe. The hardcoded reason for Jack's existence is to covet the destruction of Skaia, and by proxy, the universe the players are supposed to create. He is quite literally a video game villain raised to godhood. NOT killing the protagonists isn't really an option.

FAKE EDIT: I guess dermonster already said that. Well, I put it more eloquently, with less horrible puns. :|
