I bet you 10 dollars he absolutely did retcon that, but did so deliberately due to time travel fuckery.

It's the like Terry Pratchett recon. Discworld does not have continuity errors, it has alternate universe (or timelines).

Except it's not really a retcon; the leader didn't have an eyepatch before, because he hadn't lost his eye before. Now he has, so he has an eyepatch.

Do remember that the harlequin that the kernalsprite was prototyped with had been maimed.  In fact, it was that same eye on the King that had the scar that was the eye that was cut on the harlequin (although there were times in which the sides switched, presumably to save time with bigger animated updates).

I assume you mean Wayward Vagabond.

And it's not WV, it's SCURRILOUS STRAGGLER.

Nope. That's past Spades Slick.

My theory is that the events of the intermission happen in the future. If we assume that WV was a member of the Dark Kingdom in the past, Jack Noir also got into the desert  - ANOTHER desert - after whatever happens with the Dark Kingdom to force him out there, and is now the Scurrilous Straggler, who will become Spades Slick in the future.

Apparantly it's neccessary to get Slick back into the proper timeline, which is why he got stuffed in the chest, so we'll see.

I can also see now why Stitch would be neccessary for dealing with Sawbuck if he didn't go down in one hit.

If Jack kills crowbar he won't be able to go back to his own timeline by replacing crowbar's pin, because crowbar will already be dead.  That is why he needs him.

Did we already go over that this desert looked like the world Rose Was the Rider in?

No, but I think it's just a coincidence. They don't really look the same.

Yep,

I'll I'm saying is if you use color and color alone to equate two locations then you better be packing an eyedropper for the proof.

Also Snoop can't be Slick because Snoop's carapace is TOO BLACK.

Oh, and here's a cool theory from some dude,
Quote from: resdaMalos
I actually went ahead and created an account here just to discuss the whole Jack Noir/Fourth Wanderer/Spades Slick theory, with today's new evidence. That said, FIRST POST and hi everyone.

IDE/Theory: Jack Noir = Scurrilous Straggler = Spades Slick.

He was Noir first, but somehow got booted out and began wandering around. He found this colorful desert and proceeded to make this town.

Years later (though I don't know how many) he is the leader of his own band of notorious thugs, adopting the name "Spades Slick", a name he heard long ago that he thought had a nice ring to it.
