Doomed Dave is not really dead. That close to the quest bed? He falls on it as he dies and ascends.

it wasnt the doomed dave :( that's why she's crying.

If you look at how Terezi pulled off getting both Daves there (IE the coin flip), I think that that was Doomed-Dave-Universe Terezi, and she was time-spying on her native Dave... though maybe that is irrelevant, and it's the same Terezi. Either way, he was the one whom she'd knowingly doomed to die by the coin flip. Those are tears of guilt.

Impossible. The Trolls can't communicate with doomed timelines which leads to the conclusion that there are no trolls IN the doomed timelines to communicate with the kids.

This being Homestuck, I'm not sure whether that's post-scratch Rose or Vriska with a wig.

I think it's more that they don't want to communicate with doomed timelines because what's the point? They are not gonna help them out, they likely die off before anything important happens.

I would bet money Andrew has edited things retroactively, except I can't prove anything because it was edited retroactively.

I think they can communicate just fine with the doomed daves if they're in the alpha timeline. Just look at Davesprite. That was Alpha Terezi, looking at and talking to Doomed Dave. The same Doomed Dave from the coin flip.

But doomed timelines constantly affect the alpha timeline

in fact, the alpha timeline is reliant on doomed timelines to function

Yeah, they can talk to all of the kids in all of the timelines now, because the scratch is past tense.
The kids that were doomed BEFORE the scratch can't be communicated with,
since there would be no way or reason for the trolls to communicate with them in the first place.

I'm assuming it is because the troll universe wouldn't have been created.

The Rift still hasn't happened. Altering the alpha timeline in any way might make it not happen ever, thus causing trolls to win their game and invade, instead of sitting on a meteor and trolling the kids. This may or may not be connected to why trolls don't message doomed timelines.
