So if he spent a year, it would be a full-length movie, but with a plot incomprehensable to anyone wo hadn't read the rest of the comic, and every 5 minutes or so someone has to make a choice that splits the entire plot, resulting in 10 diffrent full-llength movies that start the same and proceed entirely diffrently by the end?

You know with the pace he get's these huge sized updates out, you COULD ALMOST SAY that could totally happen.

And it would take so long to finish catching up that he would already have completed the entire comic in the time we took reading and watching.

Um, the bottle is the plot coupon that lets you survive the meteor; remember John had a blue apple that came out of a blue apple tree? Well Rose got a purple bottle from a purple drinks cabinet.
