Theres a couple more new formspring Q&As.

Anyways, Jades world certainly looks... serene or something. Looks like all of the denziens (or the ones we saw) are frozen in ice, also theres the green sun. AH did the aurorae (auroras?) pretty well.

Considering it's been %100 confirmed that the consorts are the awesomest characters ever, are you going to give them a 1000 page intermission or something?

Not before the 10,000 page squiddle intermission and then the 100,000 page fedorafreak intermission.

Fuck yeah, a hundred thousand pages of Fedorafreak.  It'll be remembered long after this flash in the pan Housetrapped business is rightfully forgotten.

I still wish he would do a real side story with Fedorafreak. There's a good deal to explore there, if he starts before John even gets Sburb. You know, going from a normal buisness man to a deranged survivor in the ruins of human civilization, killing other survivors for food and such.

How does seeing 'adult fanart' of your work make you feel (I assume you've seen some)? I just discovered mspachan tonight; been reading Homestuck from the start and I am... a little weirded out.

Why don't you just embrace all the boners they are giving you, and stop bothering me about it?

Hussie's brain has been shielded from Rule 34.

Shit yeah, I've been given express license by the creator to embrace my boner.  I said it before, and I'll say it again: If having the hots for fanged, bug-eyed, horned, insectoid, gray-skinned, 13-year-old alien (and humans too I guess) is wrong, then I don't want to be right.  Orgasmtown, here I come.

I was all set to provide a very thorough and enthusiastic answer, but then I read your parenthetical caveat, and deflated.

Sorry.

Oh man Hussie is awesome.  I have also been exposed to MSPA 34 and it was pretty disturbing, especially all the stuff the fanartists do to Equius.

Judging from the newer formspring questions, it looks like one or two people thought AH was racist for whatever rwason, which he isn't. The only two African Americans in the comic are Bill Coby and Charles Dutton, both comedians. The carapace people (prospitans and dersites) are meant to be based off of the chess theme.

No actual new update atm, I guess AH is done for tonight given that flash.

I've heard people accusing AH of racism before. As I recall, it was about both John and Jade having glasses and large front teeth, which apparently makes them a racial mockery of asians. I don't know exactly how people came to this conclusion, but there you go.

Could also be AH trying to pull the nerd look with them, you know, Rose and Dave being the coolkids and John and Jade being the nerds/geeks.

Edit: http://www.formspring.me/andrewhussie/q/1758267761 I think AH just made the troll species being hermatomorphic into canon. Could also explain the whole mating system.

Nice update. Might Jade's second prototype be e frog?

I doubt it. He's been giving that same non-answer every time somebody finds a flaw.

Maybe, but I don't know what good that'd do - the queen couldn't stand them, but it was seemed like that was a quality unique to her, as the king could and Jack named himself after the frog god Bilious Slick in the trolls' universe. So I don't see it being a good defense against Jack, at least not right now.
