Here's an idea: Vriska is a destructive monster of a troll who needs no reason or justification for skipping across the Moral Event Horizon over and over again like a giddy schoolgirl, and does all these horrible things just because she can. So, you know, exactly like Jack Noir but [airquote]on the kids/trolls side[/airquote].

On another note, I am now rather concerned about what might happen to Mom and Dad. Bro's death felt inevitable to me, and we know Grandpa has to die, but it doesn't feel like Mom and Dad necessarily will. But it also feels like things are pointing in that direction, which has me worried about them. D:

She knew she would have a role in Bec Noir's creation. She probably knew this through future-Vriska conversations wherein she spoils it for her. However, Future Vriska only described Noir as a "demon," and Vriska assumed from this that it was weaker than the trolls' Black King and a good way to show the other trolls she was "on their side" by singlehandedly defeating*, meaning when the demon arrived, Vriska was impressed at her handiwork.

Basically, Vriska told Vriska everything except "doing this is a horrible idea."

*This is the only reason I can think of for Vriska to create an enemy.
