And in fact, the whole legendary piece of shit gag was something I planned to do down the road, the moment Dave originally broke his cheap piece of shit sword.

It looks like all the people who are talking about the game being for the personal growth for the kids are getting slowly proved right, with Jaspersprite telling Rose and Davesprite telling Dave about their personal quests they need to fulfill.

Not to mention this little gem:
