Well, that hanging plot point was certainly resolved in a hurry.  Now I have to wonder just how far in the future Future Eridan was from Present Eridan (because those terms do have a relative meaning).  Kinda resolved too fast for me, I would have liked to see a little more back-and-forth.  Especially since caligulasAquarium was already in Rose's contact list much earlier in the story, so he had to have (has to?) speak to her "again" in the past.

Stupid time travel.  And yeah, I wonder what happens to Aradia.  Maybe John or Jade stupid her to redeath.

Regarding Eridan, holy shit.  I had a modicum of respect for the guy, both because he's actually a fairly sympathetic character when you really parse out his motivations and actions, and because his Alterniabound portrait was bitching.  (And because like every guy who's ever blown a chance, I see an uncomfortable amount of myself in him.)  But goddammit man, at least have a little finesse.  What the Hell were you thinking?  Was that supposed to start a cherished rivalry?  You came off as a fucking retard, especially with that accent.  It's douchebags like you that make the rest of us desperate dreamers look bad.

Yeah, but notice that Nepeta is also in there, and nothing bad happens to her.  Heck, given her new creepy-solemn personality, I bet Rose and Aradia will get along swimmingly as only two dead-inside gothgirls can.  That, or be at each other's insufferable throats in seconds flat, who knows, they're both arbitrarily destructive.

Does anyone think Aradia exploding is a callback to Jade's Dreambot exploding? Also, Tavros tells Jade to message Karkat when her dreambot blows up here, which at least implies that Jade will wake up despite sleeping with a dead dreamself, which in turn implies that doing so isn't as bad as Karkat says it to be.

(on the other hand, maybe this is what causes Jade to be crazier than Rose, as implied by Dave here)
