I just finished playing watching reading the whole comic, and it was amazing.

IDE/Theory: Karkat is the Auspictice to the ashen relationships of both Terezi + Dave and Vriska + John.

At the moment, they seem like pales, yes, but I think from Karkat's pertimespective, Vriska is trying to kill Dave, whilst Terezi is trying to kill John... Waitaminute.

Maybe he's the Auspistice to Team Charge instead, if they're trying to mess with each others' moirallegiances?

Changed my theory! John + Vriska and Dave + Terezi = moirallegiances, Karkat is Auspistice to Vriska + Terezi who have been in lots of different forms of relationships with each other.
