I just did my first recruitment for Homestuck. I didn't even realize how fucking crazy explaining this is.

Oh my fucking hell! SBAHJ comes from Terezi! :D

This comic gives so many reasons to hate it, it's awesome.  Dave got some good artistic inspiration ( :y ), and Gamzee is totally inbound.

You're all also overlooking the other important fan-bait - trolls don't recognize bare tits as pornographic.  Or at least Terezi can't identify such from a black and white picture.

Well, searching Homestuck Cosplay results in a 15:1 split between 34 and Cosplay.

Huh.

It just occurred to me that Bro is Andrew Hussie.

TG: im not thrilled with this direction though i think its too much like my bros stuff

Because Bro's stuff looks like Andrew Hussie's other works apparently.

I don't see the need for this since the douchebag himself has already appeared in the comic three separate times.

You're all also overlooking the other important fan-bait - trolls don't recognize bare tits as pornographic.  Or at least Terezi can't identify such from a black and white picture.

Trolls have no nipples?

Trolls don't think of breasts sexually?

Other troll biology explanation?

Oh, wow, latest page...Hussie does a callout/back to ICP, of all things:

I'm still trying to decide if Hussie hates Juggalos/ICP and is bringing them up constantly as that whole Miracles meme (That has been old since before that album came out)  or if he's secretly Juggalo and is using the comic to stealthily input Juggalo references. (The who "Trolls are Gods and may all the kids find them" or some shit)

Of course if he was a Juggalo I'd think there would be more references to the other Juggalo Artists... but eh.

It's also possible he just thinks they're funny and likes using it.  "Shaggy 2 dope" is a great way to respond to an "alien" asking your name.

It's also possible he's making an opening for Gamzee so he can work a reference to the whole "We were really Christian rockers this whole time" thing.

Aq: I think that Gamzee being preachy and trying to convert everybody would explain a lot.

I think its a whole lot further ahead than that. Maybe the natives finally caught on to his trickery and trying to roast him in his own tear-water.

Are the animations of the natives (salamanders, crocs) always at hyperspeed for anyone else? Just wondering out of curiosity.

No it isn't, he's in his red velvet suit. The one he was wearing just before Descend.

And remember Terezi telling him he would meet some crocodiles that would try and eat him, also just before Descend?

Now we see that he's about to get eaten by some crocodiles.

I'm telling you. Right after Descend.

Oh yea, I think I remember that now. Maybe I'm confused which descend is being referred to here.

Edit: Nm, I get it, Daves actual descend video is out of sync with when he alchemized the stuff, I think.
