"I want him to tell me how long it would really take to construct a trans-phase drive using this gigantic tear in space-time."

"And I would be delighted to come."

Once tried to conquer Earth, and succeeded! Too bad it got really, really boring, really, really fast.

One day, we shall all look back on this, and laugh. Sorry about the face, by the way, and the legs, and the eyes, and the arms. In fact, sorry 'bout the whole body.

"Okay, then. If it is simply business" Luke put the guns away and begins to walked out. However, he stops about midway to the door, and turns around.

"The dinner is at seven o' clock" and then he left.

I put the grenade back, and take out my watch.

"Huh. I have little time and even less patience. Tell me the truth."

((Psst, that was an OOC thing. I'm already through.))

I rolled a five. I'm going out to drink some tea for a couple' hours, then I'll be back to work on the update. Don't kill each other while I'm out.

And wouldn't that exchange work better if you just bounced a couple' in-game emails back and forth, rather than stood around in an alley pointing guns at each other? You folks have a natural inclination to the dramatic. :D

Mighty Governator *ToolmakingToonyMan.
In the hopes that this will not take too much of your valuable time I will try to be brief. I write to you as my term in the academy nears its end. In my youth I was enthralled by the early exploration missions that charted the planets. I had dreams of discovering the remains of the Achilles probe, or finding **Shaggy's final resting place. But progress was so fast and already the great age of system exploration is over. I ask to be a part of the last great mystery of our time, the mysterious blue vortex. I have saved all the resources I can, and have almost financed a vessel, though I have been unable to find a supplier for plating heavy enough to block the radiation that is suspected to emanate from it. I humbly request that the resources be made available to complete my vessel and that I be given a Captaincy in the fleet to man a vessel with which to study the vortex.

In respect, RAM.

The date is 2042.2

LAME STEREOTYPE TURN ON MODE GO

First off, here’s a slightly elderly newspaper I think you’ll get a kick out of reading. Crap like this has been going on all the time on Astar. Planet’s almost hollow, the way they treat it. And get this: They’re still mining it out. It’s just make-work, man.

https://share.acrobat.com/adc/document.do?docid=717accdc-0d1a-49a7-94c1-0aef1b4857db

Man, you heard? Prowler company’s cracking down on the sons’, big time. They parked that great big friggin’ space-ship over us, and crack teams of commando’s have been running all over the place executing them and takin’ them into custody. It’s hell to live in Eggersdorf, but at least you can take a leak without someone watching you, unlike Jahannam.

Course’, apparently the sons don’t appreciate all the special attention, so they blew Cerberus space yard sky high. They’re gonna have to build the whole facility from scratch. And does THAT suck or what? Least some of the security forces they’ve got running around Beii city making my sister’s life hell will go home and make sure it doesn’t happen again. Still, that’s pretty serious. I hear a lot of people died, y’know?

But the government’s too busy playing with ice planet survivability odds flow charts and stuff to care about our plight. Sometimes I think the sons have the right idea…then they pull shit like blowing out my granddad’s workplace into tiny little bits. But I digest.

A colony ship? It looks like a cow, it moves like a cow and it steers like a cow, in fact, it probably is a cow, and a stubborn one at that... Still, I could prbably rustle up a scout ship from a new colony...
