Mega-Hospital opened on Jahannam.

Today, after three months of non-stop construction, the much anticipated Jahannam Mega-Hospital has opened its doors for its first patients.

While the citizens were much relieved at the newly-accessible medical facility, various public groups have voiced concerns over the rushed construction conducted by Captain Woose. One such group, whose representative has preferred to remain anonymous, said that they felt concerned that the hospital was not fully equipped to receive the onrush of patients.

Many Doctors admit to agreeing with the anonymous representative’s assessment. A Dr. Hobart has complained that the majority of the hospital workers were not fully trained and prepared before they started working.

However, Martin Empier disagrees. “I won’t try to claim that the doctors are under trained.” He said upon the uproar of controversy. “But the fact is, we need the Hospital, and we need it now.”

The Hospital has been very busy, but Dr. Hobart noted that the majority of the initial patients were construction workers who had been injured in the struggle to build the Mega-Hospital during the three month interval.

With the Hospital officially finished, Captain Toony has announced plans to start constructing further required facilities on Jahannam, We can only hope that these ‘further required facilities’ grand openings will go smoother then that of the Mega-Hospital.

The logistics of making a ship that could travel that far make it impossible right now, I'm afraid. We simply lack the technology to make ships that could make the voyages. We don't have cold sleep or anything like that, and we couldn't build an effecient enough generation-ship yet. It'll have to wait, I'm afraid.

Basically, there's one dinky little moon with space for one boring little facility. We've got enough space yards at this point, so it's probably best for, say, a research facility. If you want to start a research outpost, you're more than welcome. Come up with a name for the planet if you want to claim it, too.

In the news today, the Martian Corporation has laid the plans for a research facility on the moon, Gemini. When asked about the reason for this, the CEO had this to say:

"The Newstrom Facility is going to be constructed for our special divisons, formerly based in the city of Los Terros. You see, there's just too many people who are.. shall we say, overly-interested in what we are researching there."

"Would this be the long-rumored Longevity serum?"

"Of course not! Such a thing is not even feasible at this point."

After the interview:

NME: "So, how is the longenetivity serum actually going?"

Advisor: "Well the first test subject has died at the age of a month."

"Just what kind of creature is this test subject?"

"A fruit fly, sir."

"Don't they usually have a lifespan of one hour?"

"Yes, sir."

"Beautiful."

RC extraction’s headquarters has finished it’s space yard and has begun constructing the colony ship for the next phase of company operations. Afterwards, rumors that Honest Boskii’s Uralosric Starliner will be constructed for the company in use as a cargo hauler. Soon, the company promises, the fuel crisis will be over. There is also talk of efforts to colonize ice planets within the system. While this is a lofty goal, it will be some time before such a thing is possible.

Prowler Company, despite multiple setbacks from sons of Cocytus attacks, has completed the designs for two new kinds of frigate: The journeyman, and the prowler. It was determined that the Prowler, with the state-of-the-art missiles it is equipped with, can destroy a Big Boskii…without a scratch. The Journeyman, however, can travel quite a distance on the fuel-efficient engines and the massive tanks it sports. Either is an excellent choice to the enterprising captain. It has yet to be seen if Prowler company is going to put up the designs for sale.



Governor Toony, so-called leader of Eggersdorf Bei Graz, has cause a major uproar with his announcement that all families MUST have at least six children. This ridiculous policy is obviously flawed to a small child, or even a man with very poor judgment. Governor Toony cited the population gone on the colony efforts as the reasoning for these policies, but the planet is being consumed by anarchy. Rumors that total planetary martial law will go into effect are circulating.

Meanwhile, Captain Nirur Torir, Hero of the Beii city tanker crisis, is apparently to take part in some sort of ship maneuver near the end of the coming year. According to a close advisor to the emperor, this operation will be taking place in the “blue zone”; A locked down area where no traffic is allowed.

Details are sketchy, but it is suspected the sons of Cocytus engaged in theft, breaking and entering, assault, and murder.



This is badly labeled. The only gas giant is the big blue one on the left. The rest are ice. And, uh, yeah. Not much has happened, but SOON, really SOON, plot arc-stuffs will happen. I hope.

Meanwhile, at a press conference at the Corporation's headquarters The Newer Martian Emperor faces charges of domestic terrorism.

"I would just like to say at this junction, that we are not, nor have we ever, doing illegal investigations of the blue zone, and that there is no way we would ever go against the wishes of the lunatic emperor."

In a press confrence earlier today, Aaron langion, spokeman of the Prowler company, stated that with ship construction operational, that plans to eradicate Son of Cocytus members will soon begin. He also denided any rumors that the Prowler company has, claimed one of the ice planets.

Founder of the company, Luke Prowler, could not be found for questioning.
