Anyways, can anybody answer my question from a page or two back?
It's caused by the partial transparency on some of the textures, particularly the block texture.

I've uploaded a modified version of these that should make colours show through better. Download this and replace the textures in VisualFortress/Textures:

You can download OBJ file of it from this http://sites.google.com/site/3d2dstuff/
to use it in VisFort it should be like 6-7% of its original size(can be configured in VisFort files) standart texture used.
1. What's this? Are those the models you made?
2. How do I apply them to VF?

Yes this is my models, but on site is only one  atm - Bin
You can configure file objects_buildings.csv

I was testing em like, replacing something like line where was written chair or table or statue by this model and they was there.

I just tried it and didn't change anything except for the name of the object. I wondered: "What's this giant building there? That's not on my map!" Then I realised that those were the bins. xD

I've mentioned that they should be changed it that file for scale about 5-7 )(last number, standart 100)

And I still get flipped normals on just about everything. Exported to .obj from Wings3D, Cinema4D.. doesn't matter, all sides of the objects face inwards in VF :/

I'll add an option for it in the next version. Flipping the normals (or more accurately reversing the polygon winding) should work though. I always thought anti-clockwise winding was normal  :-\

Holy crap, this is amazing. Just downloaded it and pulled up the fort I was playing at the time, and it's so freaking awesome.

Well, let's see it then.  :P

Configurable suits me just fine, thanks! If it's possible to do that per object you won't have to re-export the already included ones.. if it isn't, no biggie.

And in other news, this awesome program of yours is by all means awesome. Other words just fail to describe it.
Setting ambient to 20%, diffusion to 100% and letting the sun wander a bit leads to really cool effects with long, high-contrast shadows..

Speaking of which, here comes an idea: Is the sky color predefined? Moving that to the config would be cool for some photoshop tricks with the color replacer as in "replace all PURE MAGENTA with this nifty terragen-created picture of a cloudy sky".

Really, I meant SEEING the fort was so awesome, but I'll see what I can do about a screenshot.

Looks pretty neat.

Anyways, as for my current fort, I decided to abandon it and gen a new world since I was getting bad FPS hits for various reasons and I couldn't seem to fix it, plus that worldgen seemed to be a bit cooler in temp than the ones I usually generate. Not to mention that the goblins didn't seem to want to siege even though I had turned invasions off for a while and turned it back on.

I still want to create one with 'ivory' towers, or some other megaproject.

Tack: now build a huge castle with step-by-step ascending levels and hanging roof-edges like you did in this corner, and you'll get a samurai castle :D.

Spose so...
I'm almost finished this one anyway, so I'll make some prototype corners.
