is it possible for it to tell the diference between Raised and Lowered Drawbridges?

when mine raise, it seals tight with the wall, so i want to see this

I was going to say 'not yet' because I don't know how it's stored by DF, but actually your question has prompted me to think of a workaround that might work. I'll have a look over the weekend.

I'm very interested in this as well, however i'd suggest making it possible to adapt it to any version with same aproach that Dwarf Manager uses - preconditioned save with known elements that can be found in memory footpront by the tool itself. that way it is semi-automatic even if/when new version come out.

I'm trying to make some way to distinguish my roofs from my floors. I rembered that in an earleir version, up stairs with no down made gently sloping tiles, so I tried in this fortress. This was the result.



Anyone know how to make it look more like a roof?

While I'm not duplicating this it did show me that I might be able to make use of some of the microcline my map has.

Shame that the major portion of the structure will be made out of rock salt.

I second this motion. Even though I have to say that I have absolutely no idea how better would look like/be possible because there is only so much dynamic to be had in a static picture of falling lava. I mean... to actually have a stream of lava out of those faces VF would need to simulate the hot stuff in places where it simply isn't, and that could break all kinds of things, I think.

Also about the fortress... wow. I never even saw the faces before Kulantan pointed them out but goddammit, my first thought was that it looks like a delicious cake with icing on top. It's... a magma spitting oceanbased fortress that somehow manages to be menacing and delicious(ly artistic) at the same time. I have to congratulate you, Sir, for this is AWESOME.
