Ahh, good, you're back.  Once again, speaking of the devil is the best way to victory!

HEY, you should try my Dwarfletter tileset...it's pretty.
I make games, too

A 7x7, 20 level high, solid granite obelisk. Because I can.

Also, how do you get that slice tool to work?

The slice tool is essentially just a min and max value for which levels to show. Its fairly easy to figure out if you just play around with the sliders.

Speaking of the slice tool, what about a vertical slice? I think it would be an interesting way to view the underground strata and stuff. The controls may be kind of complicated though, but it's just an idea here.

How can the fortification battlements face both ways?

Can fortifications face the correct way instead of facing one way all the time.

Theirs no way to determine what the 'right' way is (I trust I don't have to explain why)

Fortifications will usually "hook" to the nearest fortification or wall, and then align itself that way.  However, I have noticed, at times, it won't if it's a single-tile with floor on both sides, at which point it'll look weird and sideways.

and regarding fortifications, we need a way to make them better then they are now. Right now snow collects about 3 feet above the actual fortification. That and fortifying something  that isn't the top layer makes the layers above it float

Also, exactly how is that Unfillible dam made? I'm in awe.

I think that unrevealed rock should show up as black, or in the case of tunnels, mrror the floor below, if you don't turn on "reveal hidden"

Current mega project/fortress.
It's going to have about a 40 z-level tower in the middle.

Urf.
Can we please stop calling them "OpenGL version"s?
ALL versions of DF use OpenGL.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
They are the SDL versions.

Anyways, any ETA on a d14 version?
