Does anybody know how long till it works (or if it already works) with 31.01?
I'd be the brave soul willing to test, but apparently the new DF is more system heavy than my computer at home can handle, so I'll be stuck playing it at work.

It doesn't work yet. I'd guess it'll be a bit, with how huge an overhaul this version was. (Which is sad, since I really want to visualize the vast underground spaces.)

Considering Baboonanza's been absent since October or November or something like that, it's unlikely he's working on it at all. You may want to just hope some other visualizer updates soon, or that someone comes out with a new one.

I hope someone takes up the mantle of this program.  This has always been my favorite for viewing large-scale projects, such as forts with multi-story rooms and constructions.

According to his profile, last time he logged in was today.  Hopefully he still reads this thread, but it's looking like he's been too busy with life or some such.

That, or his very consciousness has been salvaged from his broken, part-cyborg body, and we'll need to wait for three years for the love of his life to turn up so he doesn't flip out next time he realises that he's stuck inside a computer.

Someone will get the reference.

Imagine a combination of power goals 44 and 45: The ruler convenes a council of the nobles to appoint you the high priest of the nearby towns. Instead of waiting for them to finish their drinking session, you walk in and crush a goblet while berating their disgusting behaviour and general incompetence.

Not the direct immediate reference, no.

So, according to an email from Baboonanza VF is most likely dead, he has't even time to play DF. (sorry guys)
He recommends Stonesense  :-[

Apparently it's free for anyone to pick up though...

Huh, didn't know that. I hope somebody picks it up. I don't have any programming skills.

Wish I could help, but I suck just as much as the next person at programming.

If anyone is willing to pick it up, have fun.

I can program but I have no idea at all about DF memory hacking/reading.
