Urf.
Can we please stop calling them "OpenGL version"s?
ALL versions of DF use OpenGL.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
They are the SDL versions.

Anyways, any ETA on a d14 version?

I believe he was talking about the d14 version of this app, not of DF.

I think that's how I interpreted it.

Any chance, if their creators approve, we could have some of the user-made furniture models bundled with the next version? It'd be more convenient for new users to have 'em right there in one place. Plus, I can't seem to get them properly installed anyway.  ;D

The previous version didn't support funiture. The next version does and will come with the models so far donated (chair, table, statue).

It doesn't work with d14 yet, I had a go yesterday but I got something wrong and it didn't work. I'll release an update once I have it working.

Cool on that news. :)

Okay, something strange is going on here, I think it started last night with the strange crash  of a region save since visual fortress started loading, but it kept coming up loaded as completely blank. The interface was there, but there was nothing displayed. My first clue that something broke was visual fortress was not working right, I did a new worldgen and it's still doing that. I'm redownloading it and reinstalling it to see if it fixes it.

Edit: yea, a reinstall fixes it, I have no idea what happened.

Can we have translucent skinning for green/clear glass instead of the standard wall?

This will be the death of me. Now I have to color and material coordinate everything. Not to mention, I have to construct floors and walls so that everything is uniform.

EDIT: That includes underground, mind you.

That doesn't sound very reasonable, man.

Windows will be transparent, walls and furniture won't as it poses to many technical problems.

And really, a five foot thick green glass wall wouldn't be see-through anyway :)

5 feet?  I always saw walls as being 8 foot cubes, and floors being 1 foot thick. And the water depth's being in feet

As far as the cubes, water appears as chunky blocks in this, so it looks kind of wierd to see a waterfall break up into chunks.

Anyways, I'm having that strange problem all of a sudden again (fixed with a reinstall...) and I've never had this problem before. I'm trying to replicate it so I can copy the text document when it goes wierd. I've copied the text document when it's working properly.

And Dwarves

It would be awesome if you added the ability to see dwarves. (Even if its just a little happy face facing the viewer at all times)
