Agreed.  It's questionable how much help they could be, let alone the ruckus they'd cause, but it's worth a shot.  We'll need a guide who knows the interior for sure.

Hold the Drunks in reserve for the moment.  No need to rush off in a fury just yet...

Attack Day, time for a more offense-geared loadout.
0 - 4 Spells: Read Magic, Ghost Sound, Ray of Frost x2
1 - 3 Spells: Shield, Magic Missile x2

Yes, I changed Detect Magic to Ray of Frost. XD

I'm thinking I'm gonna hold Shield in reserve until we're in a position that needs it. Also, I think I can use Ghost Sound to let us get the jump on something - once. So we'd best choose a good time for it.

You attempt to communicate with a nearby slave.  He is not overtly hostile, assuming you are fellow slaves, but only appears to understand goblin.  When Vice(I'm going to treat your Orcish language proficiency as goblin, since there are no orcs in the game) suggests that you could free him and help him escape, he doesn't seem to grasp the concept.  Other slaves nearby appear the same way.  They've clearly been indoctrinated as slaves very early in their lives, and don't understand that there's something other than slavery.  Looking at them, you doubt they could rebel anyway.  Most of them are hollow shells, and you can see several that fell dead in the middle of their duties and were left to rot.

Not yet.  I'm debating whether or not to allow resurrection spells, since I kind of feel like they're against the DF spirit, but at the same time I'm not sure if it's a good idea to permanently knock off people's characters with no chance of restoration(But then again, DF players are usually okay with seeing hours of work die alone in some godforsaken cave.

Either way, I'm glad I found this character creator you showed. Much better than the one I've been using.

Yeah, it's good, but the skills are weird.  They're somewhat more readable if you save the page as a text file and copy the text file, instead of just copying the text on the page.

I will change my clothes to that of one of the slaves, keeping mine own in my backpack.

You sneak over and take some clothes that look your size off of a dead body, but to your disappointment, you notice that the body has a distinctive brand on its arm.  Looking around you notice that all of the slaves have this brand.  You're not sure you could conceal it if you sneaked in, and you don't know how the goblins would react if you didn't have it.
