Just so you know, I only do the dying and stabilization thing on PCs and important NPCs.  Monsters and the like die at 0.  Combat is time-consuming enough as it is.

PCs are represented by the first letter of their username, drunks are the 1, 2, and 3, and the leeches are the brown Ls, but if you didn't figure that last part out you should probably be playing something more your speed, like football.

Spoiler: Die Rolls (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Intiative Order (click to show/hide)

Upon seeing the leechmen, one of the drunks grabs his club and charges one crawling along the ground.  He brings the club down onto its body, killing it instantly.  "I bopped him!"

As he's doing that, Ushav brandishes his holy symbol and shouts menacingly.  The remaining leechmen grow pale and seem drained of vigor.

The first leech to appear renews its attack against the drunk who still hasn't been able to pee, and this time latches onto his shoulder.  The drunk's shouting becoming incoherent, and he runs back to the campfire, pulling frantically at the leech, which maintains its grip.

Vice mutters an incantation, and a spectral suit of scale mail armor appears over his robes.

The third drunk shouts something about ale and attempts to pull the leech off of the other drunk, but it remains stuck fast.

The leech that still hasn't attached itself to anything attempts to bite the drunk that killed its buddy, but he kicks at it and it's unable to make contact.

At this point, Stalcon charges across the swamp and delivers a devastating kick to the aforementioned leech.  Its head is smashed into its body, an unrecognizable mess!

Cog removes his lute from his pack and busts out some sick Iron Maiden, getting everyone seriously pumped.

And that's it for tonight, I need to get to sleep.

EDIT: Almost forgot.

Spoiler: Map at end of round 1 (click to show/hide)

EDITEDIT:  That map is wrong, I accidentally put EJ where Theevilmonk should be.  Treat the E as Evilmonk, and the M should be just south of the fire.  Whoops.

Any leech still alive is about to get a face-full of MAGIC MISSILE.

...

There's still at least one alive, right?

I'd say we should just dog-pile the thing, but an unerring missile is good, since the leech is still latched to a drunk.

But I'm betting three one-hit-kill leechmen isn't the only thing we'll be attacked by.

A globe of magical energy flies from Vice's fingertips and finds its way to the leechman.  The force of its impact dislodges the monster from the drunk's shoulder and kills it instantly!

It's over!

With the threat eliminated, you settle back in and get some rest.  In the morning, with your spells memorized and your bodies refreshed, you continue on, and soon leave the swamps behind you.  The rest of the trip is uneventful(I believe this is probably the most common sentence said in Dungeons and Dragons, second only to "I cast magic missile").

On the third day of travel, you're marching through the rough, forested foothills surrounding surrounding the Axe of Prices, a mountain range legendary for its tremendous goblin population.  The sounds of nature are slowly replaced by wardrums and the occasional scream of a slave being tortured.

Suddenly, the forest ends, being replaced by a field of stumps.  A few human slaves with axes shuffle among the stumps, and packs of slaves drag loads of lumber away.  In the distance, a mountain rises ominously, and hateful voices echo from an entryway hewn into the mountainside, flanked by balconies jutting out of the rock and bristling with armed goblins.  The entrance is heavily guarded, and you sense a direct approach would be unwise.

Looking around, you notice a cave entrance around 100 feet off the ground, to the west of the main entrance.  It appears to be unguarded, and could possibly lead into Blizzardsteals itself.

Look around to see if any gaurds are close to the slaves.

"Maybe we can free these slaves and they can help us."
