Woot! Something I said actually spawned good ideas! Go me.

Yikes, the Orcs have a nasty language.  Traditional foreplay would be right out for them; how would they ever "say my name" for one another?  No wonder Ocrs are always so bloodthirsty and violent, they're getting sub-par action.

No. Bad Beanchubbs. Get back to self loathing or I'll use the whip!

I agree with Urist. Steampunk is like Darth Vader winning Holland's Next Top Model. It would be awesome but not something I'd like in this game.
Unfortunately dying involves the amputation of the entire body from the dwarf.

John Frenzygaurd the legendary swordsman clad in adamantine has sliced of the macaques head.
He/she wont be doing anything now.

I just had an elven caravan get raided by a horde of Rhesus Macaque. They were chasing the elves until they got to the trade depot then they all grabbed some cloth and made off with it. I'll have to get my defenses more active now because with the value that they took, they'll be back a lot more.

Almost half my fortress are military, and almost half of _those_ are champions. Macaques are not an issue.

I had a macque attack with my newest fort...they killed one of my two breeding dogs, but didn't steal anything quite yet...

So I did what any sensible dwarf would do....I stationed an axedwarf trainee outside my wagon and stockpiles while I moved everything inside.   The Macques left after most of them died in violent and disturbing ways.

Heres what I figured out to make these monkeys more annoying...

AMBUSHPREDATOR - Now you won't see them coming at you...
EQUIPS - Should make them equip gear they pick up, not sure though...
FREQUENCY - Make this higher and they appear more then you would wish...
LIKES_FIGHTING - Should make them stay around longer when you attempt to drive them away...
FLEEQUICK - Just to make the above one less, well deadly, should make them flee when you start to kick a good percentage of them around...
NARROW - If they pick up any Gobbo gear this should make them able to equip it... I think...
MISCHIEVIOUS - Levers where they can reach easily might be a bad idea...
SLOW_LEARNER - Like the Tag can learn but supposedly at a slower pace. Imagine the Monkey that took down your champ one year got away then came back the next stronger/smarter then the last...

Tag not sure about...
TRIGGERABLE_GROUP - Not sure what this does, at first it I thought that it makes more spawn when you trigger them into attacking or something but not sure, anyone knows what it is, I see it on all the vermin...

For an extra thought...
UTTERANCES - If I am not mistaken, this means that they should be able to get names right.

Well thats what i have thought off, but then again, perhaps this is too much, once started a Human City, and they nearly got wiped out by a swarm of Macaques group of around 7 or so just making a beeline for my wagon, Luckily I make two of my starting Umans have axes and the Axeman skill at base level...
