 I check not my post count, as such statistics when used for determining status bring about many habits I intensely dislike. One of such habits in making such a close-knit community that newcomers are scared away. Apparently a similar thing happened with the Mafia subforum, and such a thing should be avoided on the main forums as this is not our forums. This is Toadys. And if we scare away newcomers, we are harming Toady. Sure it is only but a slight harm, but I would prefer it be no harm.

 As for Aqizzar, the posts that he has made have for the most part been in a chill manor, looking up to and encouraging badassery and keeping things good. While I do not doubt the avatar has elevated his status slightly, I would not think any less of him if he never used it.

But when the war is over, I will rise and easily push aside the weakened Jackrabbit and Aqizzar and claim the title of person with least amount of interesting things to do in his life! Mwhuahuahau.

You know, I honestly didn't expect another one of these threads to pop up.  I guess every generation needs a few, for some reason.

I used to squash these things by making an appearance with my titanically large post count, easily one or two thousand above that of the next in line, and telling the youngbloods to sod off.  But my inactivity in the past months has apparently put enough of a damper on that to let VN-spawned post counts to take up the mantle of most lifeless.

I won't say I completely disregard my post count.  I do have some weird sense of competitive pride associated with having an unnaturally high one (I'm still not entirely sure how I got it).  But at least I'm ashamed of feeling that way about it.

Now where's Torak...  He'd probably have a more appropriately venomous comment on the whole affair.
