Urist McSon: "Daddy, we need an active volcano, inside a fortress, inside an active volcano."
Urist McFather slaps Urist McSon and says: "Thats the stupidest thing I have ever heard."

I agree with Urist. Steampunk is like Darth Vader winning Holland's Next Top Model. It would be awesome but not something I'd like in this game.
Unfortunately dying involves the amputation of the entire body from the dwarf.

I wouldn't mind getting in.

Urist Mcmayor: Here's your new room Baron!
Urist Mcnoble: About time!  And what's with that warm floodgate over there? Where's everyon- OH GOD IT BURNS!
Urist Mcnoble has burned to death.

Now I'm a dabbling comedian!

I suspect you've never tried doing many illegal things yet in your game. The second the CCS knows you're "active", they'll come down on you like the hammer of God.

The meteor is nothing. Urist should be more concerned about the true enemy lurking nearby.

(if that is what I think it is)

Now that we have a spear, we could hunt the forest creature lurking nearby, but as we are getting pretty tired and such I propose to ignore the forest for now and do some relaxing fishing in the stream: skewer a pale worm on the fishingrod's hook and creep stealthilly towards the reedy patch so as not to scare the fish away. Now gently cast the lure into the water and work the butt-end of the rod solidly into the bank. (gently/silently!) As we have some thread left over from our earlier experiments, tie one end to the rod and the other to our leftmost toe leaving just a little slack. Using this hightech warning system, we can lie back and mine for fish in style.

While relaxing, we can observe the shapes of the peacefully drifting clouds and the falling magmaman this will stimulate our imagination for Art.

the cost to build a  kennel: 1 stone
Cost to build a cage: 1 wood
cost to build a cage trap: 1 mechanism and 1 cage
The look on a goblin's face as I charge him while riding a dragon? Priceless

Spear the crazy hippy cannibal Elf.
Then take one of his femurs and give it a sharp edge. Pull a strong stick from the tree and use some of the cattails to secure it to the stick, effectively making a crude polearm.

Where the hell did the elf come from?

Anyway... inspect the grubs in Urist's pocket. If they are what I think they are...

A dwarf, an elf, and a human walk into a dwarven bar.

The elf orders an exquisite wine made from sunberries grown on the slopes of the tropical mountain "Amurshin Istrath Nun".

The human bleeds to death because during worldgen Fedi Flickeredfires, the Silvery Pearls of Worth, a dragon, bit off his left hand and right pinky toe but it only just now mattered because biology and physics only extend to the edge of the map.

The dwarf breaks apart one of the tables and makes a butcher shop, grabs the elf's kitten and butchers it to make a *kitten leather armor* and a -kitten bone greaves- then turns the kitten fat into tallow and cooks some -kitten tallow biscuits- to trade with the elf.

Might be over exert you attention to much, but if there is room I would like to join.

Urist McHunter: Oh look a wolfie! I'm gonna shoot it.
Urist McHunter: Hey look another wolfie, screw this current one I killed, I'm gonna bring back that one.
Urist McHunter: Hey look a pack of wolfies, I'll go shoot at them so I can bring even more back.
Urist McHunter: Shoot, I ran out arrows. I should go back and reload... but that elephant over there will probably taste good after it has been cooked.
Urist McHunter has been slain.

There's a room! Actually a huge room with a high blue ceiling and trees instead of walls, and a mountain on the wallpaper! :)

I am currently at work busy with a server maintance, but I just had to inform you that it's ok with me, just some work crossing my way. I will update the picture and then let those people who made these nice jokes (YOU) to participate in the next turn.

P.S. The "jokes" thing here is for two reasons: 1) so people make some effort to participate and not just randomly spew suggestions; 2) I am going to collect the jokes and probably make some kind of DF anecdotes book later, with illustrations.
