Ahem. Now then.

I was made angry today for... lets see... maybe the third or forth time in my entire life.
And I was angry largely because nobody takes relationships seriously anymore. Being "needy" or feeling "lonely" or having to "get it out of your system" are now perfectly legitimate reasons to hurt the people you profess to love, and as long as it "doesn't mean anything to me" you aren't supposed to care. Does this not seem completely wrong to anybody else? Am I the only sane person left in the world?
What's worse is that the injured party will just... accept it! Sometimes the world just needs to be hit upside the head with a slab of rock. Maybe a two-by-four. Or a steel pipe.

I feel the need to point out that the relationship in question isn't even my own. I'm just sick of watching other people being even more miserable than I am.

This isn't the right thread for this, but Sofia, your relationship is the sanest one I've seen in a long, long time, and it honestly makes me happy to see there's at least one person in the world who actually loves someone else.

EDIT: On reflection of this post I have realized that I am a sad, bitter young man.

Damn. Though it's strange that you manage to fulfil every man's greatest fantasy image, while at the same time making us all feel sympathetic towards your situation.

My suggestion - you weren't sisters, you didn't grow up as sisters, therefore you don't think of eachother as sisters. You are lovers, partners, and that's all there is too it. If you love her, and she loves you back - it doesn't matter. You wouldn't call her parents "mum" and "dad", would you?

Cos if you did that might give them heart attacks.
