Oh, SUNFISHES? RAEG!!! I hate those heavy, slow, stupid boats. Recreational boats! HAH!

I sail lasers.  WEE!  Really fast, and one of the best one designs out there. They are used in the Olympics, did you know that?

I used to sail Optimists.  But you can't after the age of 15.

Oh.  Yeah, I know of the aura of superiority that surrounds Lasers.  Haven't ever gotten to sail anything but a Sunfish though.  No place around here (or anywhere, probably) rents Lasers, and I'd hardly be able to afford buying even a Sunfish right now.

The streets are all still flooded. That makes me angry. Our drainage system is woefully sub-par.

Also as it turns out, the reason everything's flooded is because they opened the dam. Nice. Well, at least it saves repair costs.

I hear your capital city is quite badly flooded. This sounded like a biblical flood you guys had.

Not just the Capital... everything up north by the mountain ranges, and anything in an area with downward slopes. We have people sitting on their roofs. And refrigerators floating.

I live all the way in the southern part but the universities are up north... which is flooded.

There isn't anything inherently wrong with sunfish.  It's more of a joke, than anything serious.  [EDIT]I am talking about sunfishes sucking. That is a joke.[/EDIT]  It's just that the two boats are roughly the same size, and lasers are so much better, in almost every way possible.

It's just that sunfish receive more publicity. They are recreational boats.  I would have no problem sailing a sunfish.  I would even enjoy it.  I just like lasers more.

Sunfish have the Sunfish Worlds. I respect that.  It takes a serious fanbase to establish a worldwide competition of sailors in the same one design boat.  Everybody who competes in that is significantly better than I am at sailing.

Honestly? Probably not. It was a "controlled" flood, but it's still a goddamn flood. There are people stuck on their roofs even today, I think.
