FF Tactics was the game that made that genre popular in America because of it's quality. Sure you can praise Tactics Ogre on creating the genre but FF Tactics popularized it.

 Even if it's easy to break the game.

 Edit: Right. So remember my anger over a bad leg cramp? It got better halfway through the day, and walking home there was no limp. Then some lady on the Metro tripped and her umbrella poked me in the exact same place as the cramp, and I think it also hit a nerve. That cramp came right back in full force. Might even be worse now.

Plus it's an improvised weapon so you get like -2 to your attack rolls.  She must've been pretty high level or just rolled well.

As a note on the FF tactics, they have the PS1 version on the psp if ye have a psp.

The moment that a person needs to have a defining objective in order to do something stupid, is the point that they become boring.
If I'm at a parkour jam, and I say "Try to jump over that wall", and they say "why" - They are thereby not useful to society.
If I want to try and do a lucky dance to a teacher, and people ask what the point was - It is to bring entertainment to society.
