damn you, ruining my ideas. :'(

As for my design: basically the most dwarven thing ever, for one thing, it would not look like a tank, more like whatever creature the shell came from (of it was the wrong kind of creature, like anything not having "Giant Cave *" in it's name, I was going to not accept it in some funny way), very nimble, sapient and controlled by a Babbage machine, eating elves and processing their bones into bolts internally, then shooting them at more elves, as well as shooting lightning through a papperclip, and the lenses were for the eyes because lasers are overdone, and it would be powered in addition to the AG cat a combustion engine running on dwarven booze and giving the  AI alcohol dependence, and have double wings of balsa wood and silk sorta like some Da Vinci contraption and there would be two sorta like a dragonfly and they would be structured sorta like a bat. And some more stuff
But none of this does it justice, because 95% of the creative and dwarfy part was how to MAKE it, and all the cool prototypes and bizarre devices this process would litter the fort with, and now I've ruined the suspense by revealing everything. >:(

I'm in favour of doing that, but you could have given out the specifications in a sufficiently dwarfy way in a single, elaborate post rather than attempting to string it out over several, which would give others rather less scope to interfere with the greater design.

Remember one of the better sayings regarding strategy:  "A good plan now is better than a perfect plan tomorrow."

I prefer: "1 bullet to the brain is better than 8 bullets to the leg."

Oh, and for the sheer purpose of producing something quotable:

"A bolt to the brain is better than 8 bolts to the lower body."

It's a fine saying, but I suspect it may be somewhat less relevant.

...unless it was a threat.  o_o

So...after all that, we still haven't actually given McSteelness another action?

This is why we can't have nice things :(

I cant give a much more elaborate plan than the one I have already given, because my plan is a more ambiguous set of ideas and visions to be shaped into something concrete but the events, materials available, and the way the GM interprets my experiments. It's a process.

The voices in your head are arguing. It hurts.
"Man of the future and past, are you alright?"
"Yes... I think so..."

( Just get the fuck out of the fortress and make the tesla tank thing outside for god's sake )

((I'm confused, if there already exists something called that could be called a Tesla tank, that we made in a few hours, then the way I was planing to make it makes little sense))
