I had a world with a civ that has an elven king. Turns out that they were alternating between dwarven and elven leaders. I think the elves overpopulated them, heh. I killed that world because it just wasn't dwarven, but later realized that I could have just done something to kill that king

Keep him. If an ELF manages to become the ruler of a DWARF kingdom, the bastard must've earned tons of cred among them.

Here's something fun: Reserve the lever to your elf deathtrap to your king.

I wish the foreign kings actually functioned in-game.

Cellotape a beard on and no one will ever know the difference  ;)

Though I do wonder just how many people that elf had to eat to become king..

I have the same problem in my current fortress, half the "dwarf" civilization is actually elven, and the Queen is as well.  She hasn't arrived yet, though...

Regicide is, of course, always an option if you have a method of pulling it off.

I'm talking about the bronze colossus. It's supposed to be made entirely of bronze.
But really he's just a softie inside. They all are really. When megabeasts come to your fort you never welcome them inside and give them a hug, do you. You heartless bastards...

Do these kingdoms ever lead to elf immigration?  (besides, of course, the elf king/queen)

No, as of my knowledge, you can only get dwarves as migrants, unless you mod the game to give other races as migrants.

It would be interesting to see in a later version though, mixes of dwarves, humans, elves, and maybe even goblins as migrants, all members of your dwarven nation, and all having a different idea of size when ordered to make pig tail sock/R.

What kind of statues are your masons making, that you think they have "maximum exposure"?
(Full frontal ones, apparently.  With very short beards.)

He outran the Titan, but got hacked up by a bunch of Goblins.

Unfortunately, I couldn't assign him to a tomb.

An elf with a beard.

Now put him in an atom smasher to shorten him out and you can call it good.  ;D

Yikes, the Orcs have a nasty language.  Traditional foreplay would be right out for them; how would they ever "say my name" for one another?  No wonder Ocrs are always so bloodthirsty and violent, they're getting sub-par action.

Just one, the king.
