What's so wrong with strongly disliking the taste of beer and sensory... What's the word? I was thinking entropy but then I realized that's wrong.

Dude, the Christians 1) don't care if Muslims buy drank 2) are happy about it because it keeps the prices down. My Palestinian host dad: "This bottle of wine should be 200 shekel. Because of the Muslims buying it secretly, it is only 80 shekel. *puffs cigarette and tosses small daughter in the air*"

Also, the wine is only Jesus blood when blessed by a priest, and only in "essence." The physical properties don't change, only the "essence." Which is a convenient way of explaining why the wine still tastes like wine and not blood.

Explain how this logic works. Unless it's black market wine. In which case it doesn't matter if they are Muslim or not.

Because the wine seller is smart enough to increase his stocks when his demand is high, and thus can sell his product for cheaper.

This

The guy COULD try and charge more since the demand is higher but instead he realizes he can move more wine by charging less. Since more people are buying than if it was just Christians, he is able to make more of a profit by selling the product for cheaper to Muslims AND Christians, than by charging far more but selling less because of the prohibitive price.

Since more people are buying than if it was just Christians, he is able to make more of a profit by selling the product for cheaper to Muslims AND Christians, than by charging far more but selling less because of the prohibitive price.

That assumes he is already charging the highest possible price. Moving more wine is useless if he gets less profit from a limited supply. If his supply is not limited, he's obviously buying it. If he's buying it... He's getting it from somewhere. THAT one is selling it for less. Probably because he is selling in bulk. Or he's the grower and thus just makes cheap wine.

OR, his supply is limited and he wants maximum profit over a span of time. So instead of investment he wants quick cash. He'll probably use the money to buy more wine, making the supply less limited.

Again, the main argument is, why isn't he charging more?

One must not forget how these people love to water up the wine. In fact, they could pour a little wine off, mix in a little water to cover for it, collect all the poured out wine into another bottle and proceed to sell it as normal. Would you really notice the difference? It depends how much % of the wine he's pouring off from each bottle.
