I'm about to reveal Bomrek's actual secret and send him from the group temporarily. That is why you can't use him.

If it doesn't have to be in sync with other games, WD can follow my wishes. I don't really mind you using him, but I'd prefer it if you didn't.

Here it is.

Bio: Bomrek has an unmatched hate of anything undwarvenly. He feels that the only weapons a dwarf should wield are axes and hammers, though he grudgingly accepts crossbows as a necessary addition. He hates demons more than he hates elves, he hates elves more than he hates goblins and he hates goblins more than he hates undwarven things. He wields a (possibly artifact) ancient battleaxe with great flair and skill. He is also a master of mechanisms and if has several ideas for improving, and/or making more dwarvenly, the crossbow.

I made the area where zefie patrols go colored in. They'd notice outsiders here, but they wouldn't necessarily claim the land as "theirs." Areas where there are proper zefie forts are bolded stars. Settlements by groups other than zefies are underlined terrain.

Zefie Confederacy

This particular confederacy is made up of several different races. It is primarily (60%) zefie. Zefies are spherical fluff balls with glowing yellow eyes who pride themselves on a martial tradition. They make up the bulk of the government and army functions. They lack any distinguishable internal organs (like most of the species I've invented for their cannon) but have surprising adrenal capabilities. A zefie can do sprints with a lot of weight or move really heavy things for short periods of time. However, they make bad missile troops, as they can't really hold a bow of any type of draw strength.
Drake spirits make up the next largest majority (~20%). Basically, a small (with the flames, about the same size as a zefie, although especially strong spirits usually have bigger fire manes) ball of fire. They are divided into two groups, Ramino and Echid . They're drawn differently on paper. Drake spirits have a unique culture, but are also highly involved in the zefie army. Ramino Spirits are considerably more proficient using fire as a long range projectile (and make up the bulk of zefie missile forces) while Echids are better at producing close range fire sheets and the occasional flaming sword or spear. The two groups often don't get along.
Grozen (15%) are smaller than any other race. They look like a bean with a nose and a face, and usually have a fair bit of hair along their back.
The last 5% is split amongst several other races, primarily Timba (who look like a sphere with arms and legs). There are small populations of Blobs and very small numbers of several Puffie tribes (who are usually brightly colored zefies without eyes).
The major problem that is confronted in the Blobby verse (which is what I call the universe where these races exist, for a character who comes after the zefie ages) is that the races don't usually get along. They tend to make little villages of on ethnic group instead of bonding together as a nation. The zefie fortresses help somewhat though.

History:
[spoiler]These particular zefies haven't been really expansion minded. They formed three major fortresses near their forest and sat there. Over time, several large groups of minorities broke off and started their own settlements. The Echids have two volcano homes and some Grozen set up a farming community up north. Government is a strange dualacrochy, combining a military hierarchy with an elected Parliament. There is a king as well. The northern Fortress (Capital) is the capital, the middle one (Refuge) has extensive mines, and the southern one (Expanse) is notably for having a very large outer perimeter to protect a lot of farmland. The zefies have continuing skirmishes with monsters from the forest.

Not much changed with a thousand years. The zefies kept up their lax Christianity and Strife was still regarded as a cross between a saint, an epic hero, and a badass of the week amongst the army. Miracles still occurred rarely, either from some unknown latent magic ability of the zefies, or from random chance.

About the level of late middle ages or the height of the Roman empire. The zefies have a very good grasp about lots of metal working and mechanical devices. However, they don't have anything resembling gunpowder. Missile weapons are largely limited to Drake Spirits, although most army troops can throw a javelin as well.

None. Zefies do their jobs and might become famous, but no one is legendary so to say. Note that most of the large army are veterans from skirmishing with monsters.

None. However, the fortifications at the zefie settlements are really excessive. It is a famous legend that zefie fortifications can not be destroyed by siege equipment, but this has not been tested.

And If its really a big deal, I can come up with reasons as to why Bromrek isn't there, mostly because I'll be working it all into the timeframe Jackrabbit set up.

I don't even plan on updating everyday, rather I'll probably burn a whole bunch of time on a post, making big ass walls of text.

I'll pull it all together, its really not as if the party is vital to the current state of affairs anyway. Things are just getting started.

Bio: Bomrek has an unmatched hate of anything undwarvenly. He feels that the only weapons a dwarf should wield are axes and hammers, though he grudgingly accepts crossbows as a necessary addition. He hates demons more than he hates elves, he hates elves more than he hates goblins and he hates goblins more than he hates undwarven things. He wields Reaper with great flair and skill. He is also a master of mechanisms and if has several ideas for improving, and/or making more dwarvenly, the crossbow.
