Give her a ring whit a gun built into it, 007 style! Fun at airports if she's the kind that think you should never take your ring of!

Here; Anything that's not radioactive, and expensive and unknown enough should work.

Not radioactive? What's wrong with you? Nothing says I love you like a ring that emits 80,000 ticks a second :).

"I will love you to the end of our day"

Nah, if James Bond taught us anything, it's that any device can be fitted into any household object, no matter how small.

That said, I have seen a lipstick case that fires a single bullet out of it when you hit the touch paper.

Heh, she's skilled with guns, bows, and explosives. I'd rather not risk it.

Anyway, black opal and fire agate are sweet, but look a little masculine.. well, they do in JPG files anyway. Obsidian makes good jewelry, but not engagement rings, lol. Amethyst looks good with rose gold, though. Nice because she likes pink and purple.

BTW, you can't crack diamond with a hard hit. Unless it's fake :P

Do it when she's carrying none of these things.

Lasers and other diamonds.

Did you know that many of the more expensive power tools today have diamond tipped blades? They are much sharper and MUCH MORE durable. Artificially grown diamonds but they are still just as tough. Fact: They use artificial diamonds to cut real diamonds.

After Googling them, I agree.

I'd still prefer to offer a heart shaped ruby with something out of sapphire on it.

Hmm.. she seems to be way more obsessed with titanium than I expected, but what true dwarf engineer wouldn't enjoy durable metal? But I'll probably go with white gold + amethyst, or pink sapphire.

That's a misquote. I specifically wrote "but" there :P

Heh, I dunno, titanium is a bit ugly for a wedding ring. It's like wearing a piece of rock. And that post somewhere in this thread about not being able to cut the ring off sorta scared me. Especially since I don't know her ring size, and girls like to give fake sizes to appear skinny.
